More wildlife...11 deer in our field. I don't know if the resolution on the picture is high enough quality, but I numbered them all so you could see them. I didn't see any with horns (?) or antlers (?) or whatever you call those things on top of their heads. I'm gonna have to get Uncle Jeff and Uncle Tom out here!! It really was pretty cool to see so many deer at one time, especially the three that were closer to the house. That field must have some good grass or something!!

Wild Life
The animals have been busy at our house...and I'm not talking about the two-legged rugrats! I know these pictures aren't the greatest- you'll probably have to put on your bifocals and use a magnifying glass too. Anyways, the top picture is 6 deer that were grazing in the field behind our house, and the bottom piture is a pesky coyote (?) that has been around, presumably because of the many deer in the woods. I saw the herd of deer on Saturday afternoon, and then again Saturday evening just before sunset. I'm assuming it was the same six deer both times. All were does or babies, no bucks. The coyote was right behind our house at 10am today, pouncing on something in the ravine- probably field mice or rabbits. Where's Uncle Jeff when you need him???
