You didn't know we had a few elves here at our house, did ya'?? Check out this funny clip of the kids...

I've watched this probably 50 times, and it just gets funnier, especially Dillon with his cheesy smile.
Thanks, Melissa, for the clip of your own family, which inspired me to put my kiddos' mugshots in. I needed a good chuckle this week!!

A game of Clue
It was a calm and quiet afternoon. Daddy had left for the afternoon to play flag football. Dillon was in the bedroom, taking a nap. Mommy was nursing Sydney in the great room, on the loveseat. Kennedy was playing quietly in the office. "What a nice afternoon!" Mommy thought as she cuddled with the baby. After about a half hour, Mommy decided she should probably check on Kennedy.............More to come later!
Here's a couple pictures to whet your appetite for an update... As you can see, it was an eventful weekend at the Norch household. No, this is not the newest paint color we have chosen for our office. It seems I have a 4-year-old Van Gogh in the making. The pictures below are only half of the story... Kennedy is like Van Gogh in more ways than just artwork. You know how Van Gogh cut off his own ear? Well, it wasn't an ear, but let's just say we've been practicing with the scissors at preschool a little too much.

New Pictures have been added to the photo site. We've been assuming some different roles around our house during this Halloween season- a pumpkin, rock stars, Harry Potter, Thomas the Train, Princes Aurora. We've had a busy season, and the holidays are just beginning! Looking forward to seeing everyone in the coming months!

It is the first day of preschool for Kennedy and Dillon. Today marks Kennedy's second year at Church of the Lakes Preschool, and Dillon's first foray into the big, big world out there. Fumbleball Playoffs
Jason's fumbleball team won the first two games in the first round of the playoffs last night. The finals will be tomorrow (Thursday). A best-of-three series against the top-seeded Munson's. They beat us all three times we played during the regular season, but by 1-run margins, so it should be a good series. First game starts at 6pm, for all who might be interested. Come cheer on the Winking Lizards as they battle for their first league championship!!

We Do the Zoo
We took a spur-of-the-moment day trip to the Pittsburgh Zoo and Aquarium on Sunday and had a great time. The kids did real well with no complaints despite the heat and walking.
Most of the animals were pretty lazy due to the heat but the kids loved the chance to see the animals up close, especially Dillon who never missed an oppurtunity to make the corresponding animal sounds.
Here you can find all of our pictures from the trip.
